Our state-of-the-art 10,000 square foot facility is located on a beautiful 2.12 acre lot sitting directly on Helena Parkway (Hwy 52) just South of Hillsboro Pkwy, adjacent to the El Tejano Mexican Restaurant. The center features ten classrooms, a full-service commercial kitchen, a private room for nursing mothers, secure access controls on all exterior doors, and high resolution cameras throughout the building’s interior and exterior. Age-appropriate playgrounds are located immediately outside of each classroom for easy access. The playgrounds also include a soccer field, large activity court, and a picnic gazebo.

AIM Academy offers a unique kindergarten experience. Our small campus is specifically tailored for young children from birth to five years of age. We nurture your child’s whole self as our kindergarten students learn through play, discover their creativity, and develop essential social skills in a warm and supportive environment.
CHOOSE ACT deposits will begin July 1, 2025, so make plans to visit us now.

I love Ms Journey at AIM Academy she is great with my special needs daughter she is very well taken care of and everything is ready at pickup for her clean and ready to go. Always ready for her and love that my older daughter can go to so she can be with her sister for summer camp also
My little one is in the Preschool Transition 2 class at Aim Academy in Helena and she enjoys going to school daily. It is a big thanks to Kaylen , Lailah, and Jessie. There are no tears at drop off and shes always so happy to be at school. She has learned so much and we see it at home whether it is her growing vocabulary and her excellent handwashing skills, cleaning up toys and placing them where they belong, or her telling us her shapes and colors. We appreciate the AiM academy staff from the greeting when you first walk in, the quick response to questions or concerns, and the love they have for my little one.
So happy to be a part of the AIM family. They have been so wonderful with our specific needs! Shout out to Xavier for always being kind and on top of things. Also, huge thank you to our son's teachers Shawnon and Brittany. MVP team.
I have 2 children at AIM academy and I love their teachers! My youngest is in the infant class with Mrs. Meghan and Ms. Chaney. I have no concerns with the well being of my baby. He is so loved and you can tell by how they send pictures and updates through the procare app. My oldest is in one of the preschool classes with Mrs. Jazzy and Ms. Bree, and his growth through this last year has been amazing. He's more confident in himself, talking so much more, and has really come out of his shell. We are so happy at AIM!
My granddaughter attends AIM and she absolutely loves it. Her teacher is so amazing Ms. Aneesha thank you so much for all that you do and have done especially the pacifier. Keep up the amazing work you all do. Each and everyone of your staff has been wonderful.
I’d like to share my appreciation for the teachers in the 12–18 month classroom. Miss Kayla welcomed my son with open arms and immediately earned my trust on day one. Being new to preschool, he needed that warmth and reassurance, and she provided it so naturally. Miss Jessica also does an amazing job keeping me informed about his day during pick-up. I really appreciate how she takes the time to share the little details—how he played, ate, napped, and interacted with the other kids. My son is new to attending preschool, and I was a little nervous about how he would adjust. From the very first week, the teachers made the transition so smooth and comforting. They’ve been incredibly patient, nurturing, and attentive to his needs. I can see how much care they put into creating a safe, engaging environment for the kids. My son is already showing more confidence, curiosity, and excitement each morning, which tells me he feels secure and happy in their classroom. The communication has also been wonderful they keep me updated throughout the day , sending lots of pics and always take the time to answer my questions.
I couldn't ask for more for my girls. The teachers are amazing. My girls are always talking about their best friends in their classes, crafts or activities they do, and their teachers (Ms. Brittney, Ms. Shawnon, and Mrs. Jessie). They are always so communicative throughout the day and send lots of pictures through procare everyday. I'm so grateful to have found this school for my girls!
We love AIM Academy of Helena! Our little girl is in the First Class Pre-K program and absolutely loves it. She has two great teachers and the entire staff has been nothing short of amazing since the beginning of the school year. The school facility is beautifully built and very clean/well maintained. We feel blessed to have our girl there.

Hi, I’m Rachel Atherton, the Director for AIM Academy of Helena. As the Director, I work to implement our company’s core values into each classroom and strive to maintain a happy workplace. I have worked in private preschool management for over 5 years in both Alabama and Tennessee. My degree is in sociology with a concentration in marriage and family counseling. A fun fact about me is that I am a published children’s book author!
Xavier Lilly
Assistant Director
Hi, I’m Xavier Lilly. I am the Assistant Director for AIM Academy of Helena. As the assistant director, I help keep the school running smoothly, build great relationships with families, and keep our teachers and children happy. I have always had a passion and it has been my duty to work in childcare. In 2023, I received my Bachelors Degree in Family Consumer Science with a concentration in Human Development and Families Studies from the Illustrious Alabama A&M University located in Normal, AL. Afterwards, I started teaching Pre-K and began to engrain myself in all age groups from Infants to School Agers. I also began my administration journey when I became the office manager for this program in the beginning of 2025. I am excited to be a part of a community that is so extraordinary. A fun fact about me is that I am the youngest of 25 grandchildren!

Hi, I’m Jessica Godsey. I am the Program Coordinator for AIM Academy of Helena. As Program Coordinator, I am the liaison between administration and our teachers. I help facilitate activities and curriculum in the classroom while prioritizing your child’s development. I have been working with children since 2017. My husband (Ryan), daughter (Violet 9), and I live in Alabaster with our 4 large dogs. A fun fact about me is that I love working with Toddlers! They are so much fun and have my heart!
