A Place to Wind Down, Power Up, and Grow
When the school bell rings, our after-school program is the perfect place for your child to decompress from the long academic day. Upon arrival, our students enjoy a healthy snack to recharge followed by some dedicated homework time. Our qualified staff will assist your students with their assignments. For children who have completed their work or do not have assignments, a variety of classroom activities are available for them to choose including creative arts and crafts, a quiet reading corner with a diverse selection of books, engaging board games, and imaginative play with LEGOs and other building materials.
Following this period of focused work or creative expression, our students head outdoors for supervised play. This time allows for physical activity, fresh air, and social interaction with peers in a safe and spacious environment. As the day winds down, our remaining students gather in their classroom for quiet, table-top activities. This ensures a calm and peaceful end to their day as they await pick-up.
Smaller Classes, Calmer Spaces
Our small class size is also an important consideration for many parents. Our facilities have only one or two classrooms dedicated for school-age students with a maximum of 21 students per classroom. By contrast, the large public school after-school programs commonly have hundreds of students in a single common area and can be overstimulating for some children.
Safe Rides, Every Time
A critically important feature of our after-school program is our safe and reliable transportation. Our multi-function school activity buses meet all Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for school buses, ensuring the highest level of safety available in student transportation. These safety features include reinforced steel cage structure, padded child sized seats with seat belts, cross view mirrors, multiple emergency exits, and a child scan alarm. This alarm helps ensure all children exit the bus upon arriving at our school. For children under the age of 6, we also provide a booster seat for five year-olds and a forward facing car seat for four year-olds.
As you can see, our after-school program is more than just childcare; it is an extension of our commitment to fostering well-rounded, confident, and happy individuals. By providing a blend of academic assistance, creative outlets, and recreational fun, we aim to make the hours after school a productive and enjoyable experience for every child.
Our after-school program is limited to children from pre-kindergarten through 4th grade. Children ages 4 to 5 are most commonly not grouped with older students and will spend their afternoons in our pre-k classroom. Full-day services are also available during the school year on teacher work days, breaks, and certain holidays.
